Teardrop Pearl and Rinestone Vintage Earrings - Screw Back
These screw back earrings are much older than others I have listed. They were given to me by my mother many years ago. I always referred to the teardrop shaped pearls as pink; however they are actually more of a very mellow ivory color - -very lovely. Total length is 1-3/8". The 7-stone rhinestone clusters measure just under 1/2".

This is one of a number of vintage earring sets that I have recently pulled from the depths of my rather large assortment of costume jewelry. Where possible I am listing the manufacturer; unfortunately in many cases the company name appeared on the necklace or bracelet of a set, and not on the earrings. With the exception of some of the Avon items, that are a bit more recent, the majority of these earring sets date to 1950's and early 60's. There are two types of clip backs. I do not know the proper terms, but I will refer to them as the Flat Clip and the Loop Clip (resembling the older screw type).
