SMOOTH PANEL ROSE BOWL by IMPERIAL GLASS - Older Marigold Carnival Glass 5" Bowl with Flower Frog

This small carnival glass flower bowl is in a somewhat uncommon pattern is known as Smooth Panel. It is completely smooth on the outside with panels on the inside that are convex rather than the usual concave panels. I understand that only a few sizes of vases and perhaps two bowl sizes were produced in this pattern. Please correct me if I am incorrect on the pattern identification, I do my best to be accurate; however some pieces are difficult to pinpoint.

This piece measures 5" in diameter at the opening by 2-3/4" high, with a collar base. and a smooth rim. The marigold color has a nice amount of fire on the inside and a lovely satiny appearance on the outside. I am selling a nice 8 hole carnival glass marigold flower frog with this bowl, as they have been used together and make a nice pair. Both pieces are in nice condition, considering their age. The bowl has no chips, cracks etc.; however it appears to have perhaps a light water level line inside, which might clean, but I do not attempt that. The frog has a tiny chip on the rim and one hole feels rough. Displayed or used with flowers it is very attractive. I love to use my pieces, since that was their original intent. ( My grandmother always used a carnival glass bowl for serving mashed potatoes, because she thought the potatoes lacked eye appeal.)
