Green Depression Era Glass Vase - 5" high w/ Flared Rim

This vase definitely is a Depression Era specimen and has been in the family for many years. It has no manufacturer's mark, and we have yet to determine its origin from our research thru a number of our books. What we do know is that it is a crisp clear green color and has the look and feel of a quality piece of glassware. It measures 5-1/8" tall, 2-3/4" at the base and 4-1/2" across the rim.

A unique feature about this piece is in the overall design. It has 12 panels extending from just above the base to a line just below the rim. These panels have a rounded feel and can only be felt on the inside of the vase, although the circular line is only felt on the outside. The rim is smooth both inside and out and consists of six large scallops that flare outwards to form the rim and dip into graceful indentations. We will continue our attempts to identify the maker and pattern. If anyone can help with this search, please use our Contact tab.

I try to describe the items on this site as accurately as possible; however since most of the items are either antique or at best vintage, due to their age, they are sold in "as is" condition.
