NASCAR Hamburger Helper Cap Autographed by John Andretti and Richard Petty in 2001 -- plus 6 Promotional Cars from General Mills

Attention Race Fans: These are authentic signatures !!

I always hesitate to list an autographed item, unless I can personally attest to the authenticity of the autograph. In this instance, I personally observed the signatures being applied to the cap. However, I had no idea who these guys were, until years later.

In 2001-2002 I was employed by General Mills, who sponsored NASCAR cars / drivers etc. (As you can tell, I am not at all familiar with the NASCAR circuit or its racers, and I apologize for my lack of knowledge.) One of the "new employee’s club" luncheons featured, as guest speakers, a couple of guys who were involved with the car or cars that General Mills sponsored. I believe they even had the newest "race car" outside for us to see (preview). Ironically, I won one of the door prizes, which turned out to be this delightful cap, which both of the men signed.

The cap is new and bright red. It has the number"43" on one side and the Hamburger Helper "Helping Hand" logo on the front. At the back of the cap are the words "The Helping Hands Pit Crew". All of these are Embroidered, not printed. The cap has an adjustable back strap with a sturdy buckle.

On this same occasion, we were each given several of the small promotional model cars that had been used in a cereal box promotion. I am sure there are many, many of these out there; however, I thought a NASCAR fan might appreciate them. (no charge) There are three of the #43 Cheerios car, with Hamburger Helper, Chex, etc. on it, and three of the #9 Dodge, which reads National Training Center. I try to describe the items on this site as accurately as possible; however since most of the items are either antique or at best vintage, due to their age, they are sold in "as is" condition.
